Adam is a father, husband and solicitor who was born and bred in Grimsby and is a Partner at local law firm, Wilkin Chapman LLP. Adam trained and qualified as a solicitor at Wilkin Chapman’s, Grimsby office and has worked with the firm since 2012. He has progressed from a newly qualified solicitor, to senior solicitor and now to Partner in the firm’s corporate and commercial department where he specialises in sales and acquisitions of businesses and the drafting and negotiating of commercial agreements for many businesses in the Grimsby area.
Throughout his professional career, Adam has sought to assist locally based initiatives that support young people from being involved with mentoring of A-level students with an interest in law to acting as a Governor of a local primary school. The opportunity to get involved in the development of Horizon Youth Zone in Grimsby as legal trustee was something he grabbed with both hands and wholly believes in the ability of the Youth Zone to change the opportunities of many young people in the area.
Having two young children, Adam’s spare time is spent with his wife and children enjoying seeing his children grow up and explore the many outdoor activities on offer in and around Grimsby and Cleethorpes. Though by no means a talented player, Adam is also a member of Cleethorpes Golf Club and enjoys trying to improve his golfing abilities whenever he can.
